Juried Photography Exhibition

March 1 - April 1,2012

Entries must be received by mail or in person at 11Spencer St., Spencerville On., K0E 1X0

by Feb. 17, 2012 at 5 :00pm

Conditions of Entry

1. The competitionis open to photographers within a 100 km radius of Spencerville includingOttawa, Brockville, Kingston, Cornwall, Ogdensburg and surrounding areas. Members of ArtScene Spencerville are noteligible.

2. The competition is open to photographers using anytype of photographic process, colour, black and white, traditional or computermanipulated images. Works submitted mustbe made from photographs taken and processed by the photographer making thesubmission. Printing and framing may bedone by the photographer or by a third party.

3. An artist can submit up to 3 works. No entry may be withdrawn once it isaccepted.

4. Non-refundable entry fee of $10 per worksubmitted must accompany submissions.

5. Selection of works for this show is at the solediscretion of the jurors.

6. Entries can be submitted by mail or dropped off atthe gallery before 5:00pm Friday, Feb. 17, 2012. Submissions should include a completedapplication form, a Cd or DVD containing the images submitted and the entryfee.

7. Images should be submitted in jpg format and shouldbe labeled with the entrants name, a number and the title of the work. i.e.John Doe_01_Snowscape.jpg. Cds or DVDsshould be labeled with the name of the entrant.

8. Entrants will be informed of acceptance or rejectionof entries by email on Feb. 21

9. Accepted works must be delivered to the gallerybetween Feb. 23 and Feb. 26, 2012. Worksdelivered must be ready to hang. Thegallery reserves the right to refuse any entry which is not ready to hang. Works delivered should have a label(provided) attached to the back.

10. A commissionof 20% will be charged on the price of any work sold during the exhibition.

11. Works may bepicked up at the gallery after the exhibition from Apr.5-Apr.8, 2012. No work may be removed from the gallerybefore April 1.

Acceptance to this show is an agreement toall terms set forth in this “Call for Entries”. ArtScene Spencerville reserves the right to photograph entries for thepurposes of documentation, education and publicity.
